Hello!  I grew up in Gurnee Illinois and went to Warren Township high school.  I graduated from Illinois State University with a Biology and Secondary Education degree and can teach middle and high school sciences.  Yes, you heard right- I was an acrobat in the circus while I was at ISU!  After that I moved to the Freeport, IL area and taught in Polo, IL at Aplington Middle School for 5 years.  I got married to my amazing husband during my last year there in 2013 and then started teaching at Erie High school in 2014.  I have a spunky 4 year old boy named Grayson and an active 1 year old girl named Emma!  I currently live in Rapids City, IL (near Port Byron).  A few things I love: bright colors, healthy food (fruits and veggies), everything about fall and halloween, caramel apple pie, watching crime and medical shows with my husband, taking my kids for walks, hiking at Matthiessen State Park, and just being outside, really.  I LOVE photography and have a photography business aside from teaching.  I do senior photos, so if you're in the market for a photographer, feel free to hire me ;-) This is my photography website-->
